Consignments

We’ll Sell Your Personal Property When You Move or Downsize

Start the consignment process today.

When you move or downsize, it’s natural to have some items that just aren’t a good fit for your new home.

What do you do when you have a large group of furniture and items to sell, but not enough for an estate sale? Our consignment service is the simple solution to sell your unneeded items, so you can move on to the next chapter without the burden of stuff you no longer need.

Here’s how the process works…

Henredon and Baker Furniture
Sold for $6,500

1. Tell Us What You Have

The first step in the process is for us to understand the items you’re interested in selling. You’ll start by filling out our quick online form. Our team will quickly review the information and schedule a pickup day for your items.

2. We Pick Up Your Items

Moving furniture can be a big project. That’s why we handle the heavy lifting so you can focus on what’s important. If we don’t have an immediate house to place your items in, we’ll store them for free.

Art and decor collection
Sold for $7,200

Designer outdoor furniture consignment
Sold for $5,900

3. We Sell The Items & You Get Paid

Your items will be matched with one of our estate sales, often in luxury homes throughout Leawood, Overland Park, and the Kansas City area. Our interior designers will organize and stage all of your items, our appraisers will research and price each item, and our photographers will take professional images of the items and share them with our online community of thousands of shoppers.

At the end of the process, you’ll receive a check for your sale proceeds, along with a detailed accounting of what each item sold for. If any items didn’t sell, we’ll be happy to donate them, free of charge, as part of our service.

Why Choose Consignment?

The process is simple.

We handle everything in the process, so you don’t have to worry about it. From picking up the items to sending you a check at the end, it’s the easiest and most convenient way to get rid of items you no longer need.

We offer free storage.

If we don’t have an immediate house to place your items in, we’ll offer free storage of your items until we do.

You get paid.

When you donate an item, you do all the work and they make all the money. When you consign with us, we do all the work and you get a check at the end of the process.
