Are you skilled at photography and interested in working with unique and high-end items? We’re seeking an Auction Photographer to join our team. This mobile role will primarily focus on photographing estate items (art, furniture, jewelry, decor, fashion) inside homes across Kansas City for our online estate auctions. In addition to photography, you’ll also assist with various tasks involved in preparing and running estate auctions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Photography: Travel to estate locations to photograph items on-site for online auction catalogs, ensuring high-quality, well-lit images.
- Editing & Uploading: Edit photos as needed and upload them into our auction catalog inventory system.
- Team Support: Assist with other auction-related tasks, including preparing and organizing items for auction pick-up, helping customers load items on pick-up days, and packing up supplies as we move to the next project.

Skills & Requirements:
- Experience with DSLR photography and lighting setups. If you don’t have experience using photography lights, this role isn’t for you.
- Real estate or product photography experience is a plus but not required.
- Physically active role: must be comfortable standing for long periods and moving items, including furniture.
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs with ease.
- Team player who thrives in a small, collaborative environment.
- Basic computer skills for inventory management and batch photo editing.

What to Expect:
An average week will include 50% of your time spent photographing estate items and the other 50% helping with various auction-related tasks. You’ll be working within a dedicated team of 2-4 other A-Players who have positive attitudes and like to get things done. (If you chronically have a bad attitude or don’t like to get things done, please don’t apply). This is a hands-on, mobile role working across estates in Kansas City.
- Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours per week
- Pay: $19–$22 per hour, depending on experience and skill set
