Pick Up Policy & Delivery

Pick Up Policy in Three Bullets:

  • Pickup dates and times are posted ahead of time so there are no surprises. Because our pickup windows are tight, they need to remain firm. (More context below)


  • Delivery is available for every sale. If pickup timing does not work for you, delivery is a good option. (Delivery options below)


  • If an item is not picked up and delivery has not been arranged, we are unable to hold it after the pickup window. It may then be donated or resold, and the order will not be refunded.

 

Why We’re Sticklers About Pickup:

Dear estate sale shoppers,

We know pickup timing can be tough. Life is busy, schedules change, and not every sale pickup window works for every customer.

At the same time, our pickup windows have to stay firm. Brown Button runs 3 to 4 sales each week, with hundreds of items per sale. Because these sales take place in our clients’ homes, we usually have a very short window after the sale ends to remove purchased items.

In many cases, the home is about to be listed, already under contract, or already sold. We also do not have the staff, trucks, storage space, or off-site facilities to hold items after pickup ends or move them to another location for later pickup. If we started making exceptions, this would quickly lead to a level of complexity that our team could not keep up with. 

That is why all items must be picked up during the scheduled pickup window listed in the sale details, item listings, and on your invoice.

If you cannot come yourself, you are welcome to send a friend or family member with a digital copy of your invoice. Delivery is also available for every sale. You can:

 

If pickup does not happen during the scheduled window and delivery has not been arranged, we cannot continue holding the item. It may be donated or resold, and the order will not be refunded.

We truly want customers to receive and enjoy what they purchased. Please make pickup or delivery arrangements in advance so everything goes smoothly.

    • 2-mover item: $100
    • Extra large or delicate items, garage delivery: $250
