This Brown Button estate sale in St. Louis has ended.
Held in a $2.1 million, 5,000 sq. ft. estate on a private Ladue street, it featured the lifetime collection of an avid art and antiques enthusiast.
Highlights included European sculptures, more than a dozen original paintings, an Everette baby grand piano, a Capodimonte life-size porcelain leopard, a large Lladró collection, sterling silver, gold and diamond jewelry, hand-painted Chinese porcelain, Maitland-Smith and Jay Strongwater pieces, Karastan rugs, antique European furniture, garden statuary, a Valentino couture fur coat, a porcelain figurine collection, a leather library sofa, a mother-of-pearl inlaid side table, a contemporary chinoiserie cabinet, a Malcolm Gearing oil painting, a 44” concrete lawn jockey, antique hand-painted china, vintage lamps, Waterford crystal, clocks, fur coats, and vintage wrought-iron patio furniture.
All winning bidders will need to sign up for a pickup time slot. The sign up link will be emailed to you.
Items not picked up will be donated to a good cause. We’re not able to issue refunds or make exceptions. Thanks for understanding.
Delivery is available for most St. Louis and Kansas City bidders, depending on your location. If you win, we’ll send you all the delivery details by email.

This is a timed auction. Items start closing on Tuesday at 7pm, one every 30 seconds. If a bid comes in during those final 30 seconds, an extra minute is added to that item’s time.
There’s a 15% buyer’s premium on all items. So if you win something for $100, your total will come to $115.
Once the auction ends, we’ll email your invoice. To keep it easy, we’ll automatically charge the card you have on file – no cash, no checks, and no extra fees for using a credit card. Sales tax may be added based on the location of the sale.
