Navigating A New Season
Caring for the health and safety of our shoppers, as well as our staff, is of critical importance to our company. The first core value of our company is “People Matter Always” and we want everything we do to reflect that value. We are making a number of changes that will allow us to serve our clients and offer you great merchandise, while operating in a safe and responsible manner.
We are making adjustments in this season in order to provide a safe and enjoyable shopping experience both for our shoppers and our staff.
Not Accepting Cash:
To reduce contact, we will no longer be accepting cash or checks at our sales. We will only be accepting credit cards, debit cards, Apple Pay, and Google Pay.
Face Coverings Required
Face coverings will be required for all customers shopping and all Brown Button staff working the sale. Masks will be available for purchase for $2 each at the door. Bandanas and scarves can be used.
We will be limiting the number of guests in the house based on the square footage of the house. Customers standing in line and shopping in the house will need to keep 6ft apart from other customers.
We will be cleaning the home throughout the in-person sale. Common areas will be cleaned on an hourly basis. We know that there are folks out there who are high risk, and these new practices are meant to look out for the most vulnerable among us.
“People Matter Always”
This is one of our company core values. We ask the question, “how would we want to be treated?”. In a season where the future is uncertain and we have a lot of concerns on our plate, one thing is always clear to us.
People matter always.
Face masks, going cashless, and limited entry is all inconvenient. For us and for you. But at the end of the day, people matter more. Even though you might not be high risk, we want to host our estate sales with the safety of all our staff and shoppers in mind.
